Artists Moving Image Northern Ireland present their inaugural film festival at MAC Belfast. Ways to Speculate will be screenedat 11am on Friday 29th of the month in 'The Future is Another Country,' curated by Rana Ozturk. Assumed Position will be screened on 30th September in 'Defensible Spaces' at 2pm, alongside the work of Rosalind Nashashibi, Seamus Harahan, Jem Cohen and Jamie Buckley

On the 22nd of this month A Glimpse of Common Territory will be screened with a seminal work by Ernie Gehr, 'Side/Walk/Shuttle' and new work by Cliona Harmey at a Douglas Hyde Gallery event in Trinity College, Dublin.

This programme includes films by Frederic Nauczyciel, Jasmina Cibic, Su-mei Tse, S├ębastien Durante, Pierre-Jean Giloux, Didier Faustino, Sasha Pirker & Lotte Schreiber.

Screening Her Fanciful Digression at Credits and Acknowledgements at Birkbeck School of Arts on Friday 11th December from 6 - 9pm. Programme includes work by Ursula Mayer, Kate Davis and Holly Antrum and is curated by Lucy Reynolds. This event is part of the conference, BIMI presents: Women's Filmmaking in Contemporary Britain.
